- Entry is open only to individuals who are residents of Australia and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry, excluding residents of the Australian Capital Territory.
- The following people are not eligible to enter or win: employees, officers, directors, contractors and event staff of the Promoter and of any related body corporate; employees and contractors of agencies, exhibitors, vendors and suppliers directly involved in conducting this Promotion; and the immediate family (spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling, whether natural or by marriage) and household members of any of these people.
- The Promoter may ask the winner to provide proof of identity, age and residency. If the winner cannot provide satisfactory proof within the claim period, their entry is invalid and the prize will be redrawn.
3. How to enter
- To enter, during the Promotion Period, purchase one or more Eligible Tickets through the official Unmarked online store at unmarked.au.
- Eligible Ticket means a paid General Admission, Group of 4 or Early Access ticket to Unmarked Brisbane 2026 (Saturday 14 November 2026, Brisbane Showground), purchased at the advertised price during the Promotion Period. Exhibitor, vendor, accreditation, media and complimentary passes, and tickets bought through any unofficial reseller, are not Eligible Tickets.
- Each Eligible Ticket earns entries as follows:
- General Admission: one (1) entry;
- Early Access: one (1) entry;
- Group of 4: four (4) entries.
- All entries are recorded in the name and contact details of the person who completed the purchase (the Purchaser), not the individual ticket holders. The Purchaser must be an eligible entrant under clause 2.
- There is no limit on the number of entries a Purchaser may earn, provided each entry is from a separate Eligible Ticket.
- Entries are recorded automatically at the time of purchase. You do not need to do anything else to enter. You do not need to attend the event to win.
- There is no additional cost to enter beyond the advertised price of the Eligible Ticket. Tickets are sold at their normal price and are not increased because of this Promotion.
- If an Eligible Ticket is refunded, cancelled, charged back or transferred to the Promoter, every entry earned by that ticket is void.
- Entries are deemed received when the purchase is confirmed by the Promoter’s ticketing system. The Promoter’s records are final as to the time and validity of each entry.
4. The draw
- The draw will take place at approximately 7:00PM AEST on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Brisbane Showground, 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills QLD 4006.
- The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period, using a random selection process. The draw will be conducted in the presence of at least one person who is not involved in managing the Promoter’s business.
- The first valid entry drawn wins. The Promoter will also draw three (3) reserve entries, in order, which will be used only if the winning entry is invalid or the prize is unclaimed.
- The winner does not need to be present at the draw.
5. The prize
- There is one (1) prize. The winner may choose one of the following:
- Option A — $5,000 travel gift card: one or more Flight Centre gift cards with a combined face value of $5,000, which the winner may put toward a trip to Japan or any other travel offered by the provider; or
- Option B — $5,000 cash, paid by electronic funds transfer to an Australian bank account in the winner’s name.
- The winner must tell the Promoter in writing which option they choose when they claim the prize. If the winner does not choose within the claim period, they will receive Option B.
-
Travel gift card conditions (Option A only):
- The gift card is subject to the provider’s own terms and conditions, including its expiry date, which the Promoter will tell the winner when the gift card is issued.
- The gift card must be used before it expires. Any unused balance at expiry is forfeited, and the Promoter will not replace an expired, lost or stolen gift card.
- Any travel booked with the gift card is arranged between the winner and the provider. The winner is responsible for all costs above the gift card value, and for passports, visas, travel insurance, and complying with all laws, travel advice and entry conditions for their destination.
- The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash except where the provider’s terms allow it.
- The prize is not transferable or exchangeable except as set out in these terms. Option B is the only cash alternative.
- If the gift card in Option A becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute a travel gift card or voucher of equal value from another provider, or pay the winner $5,000 cash, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
- The winner is responsible for any tax implications arising from the prize. The Promoter recommends the winner seek independent financial advice.
6. Notifying the winner
- The Promoter will notify the winner by email and phone, using the details provided at the time of purchase, within two (2) business days of the draw.
- The winner’s first name, surname initial and state will be published on the Unmarked Instagram account (@unmarked.au) and at unmarked.au/pages/japan-or-5-grand within seven (7) days of the draw, and will remain there for at least 28 days.
- It is the Purchaser’s responsibility to provide accurate contact details. The Promoter is not responsible if it cannot reach the winner because of incorrect or out-of-date details, spam filters or an unanswered phone.
7. Claiming the prize
- To claim the prize, the winner must reply to the notification within fourteen (14) days of the draw and provide proof of identity, age and residency, their chosen prize option, and (for Option B) their bank account details.
- The Promoter will deliver the prize within one (1) month of the winner being confirmed. For Option A, “delivered” means the gift card has been sent to the winner (physically or electronically).
- The winner may be asked to sign a prize acceptance form.
8. Unclaimed prize and redraw
- If the prize is not claimed in accordance with clause 7, or the winner is ineligible, the Promoter will make every reasonable effort to contact the winner before forfeiting the prize.
- A forfeited prize will be awarded to the next reserve entry drawn under clause 4.3. If no reserve entry is valid, the Promoter will conduct a redraw at 12:00PM AEST on Tuesday 1 December 2026 at the Promoter’s address listed in clause 1, under the same conditions as the original draw.
- A redraw winner will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the redraw, must claim within fourteen (14) days, and will be published in the same way as clause 6.2.
9. Promoter’s rights
- The Promoter may disqualify any entry or entrant it reasonably believes has tampered with the entry process, provided false information, or acted fraudulently, dishonestly or in breach of these terms. This includes using multiple identities or reselling tickets to obtain entries.
- If the Promotion cannot run as planned because of fraud, technical failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention or any cause beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may, subject to any written direction from a regulatory authority, modify, suspend or end the Promotion. Any modification will be notified to entrants or published on unmarked.au within a reasonable time.
- If Unmarked Brisbane 2026 is postponed, cancelled or relocated, the Promotion will still proceed and the draw will take place at the Promoter’s address listed in clause 1 at the scheduled time, unless notice of a new time is published on unmarked.au. Despite clause 3.8, entries from tickets refunded because the Promoter cancelled or postponed the event remain valid.
- The Promoter’s decisions about the Promotion are final. No correspondence will be entered into except as required by law.
10. Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot be excluded.
- Subject to clause 10.1, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered in connection with the Promotion, the prize or the use of the prize, except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.
- The Promoter is not responsible for entries or communications that are lost, delayed, incomplete or corrupted, or for any technical malfunction of the ticketing system, website, payment provider or email delivery, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence.
- The gift card provider and any airline, hotel or travel supplier the winner books with are responsible for their own services. The Promoter is not liable for their acts or omissions, including the provider ceasing to trade, except as required by law.
11. Privacy
- The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information (name, email, phone, state and purchase details) to conduct this Promotion, verify eligibility, contact and publish the winner, and deliver the prize. This information may be shared with the Promoter’s ticketing, payment and gift card providers for these purposes, and with regulators where required by law.
- If you do not provide this information, you cannot enter. Entrants who opted in to marketing at checkout may also receive Unmarked updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Personal information is handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy at unmarked.au/policies/privacy-policy, which explains how to access or correct your information or make a complaint. Questions can be sent to team@unmarked.au.
12. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
- If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply.
- The Promoter will keep records of the draw, the prize and the winner for at least five (5) years.
- This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram, Meta, Shopify or Flight Centre or any other gift card provider.
